Beyonce, Branding and Pizza

Turns out Beyoncé, David Beckham and I have something in common.

We all eat at the same pizza parlor!

Lucali's is rated #1 in NYC and #2 in the country.

"Once you try it, you'll be hooked", according to their website.

Beyoncé flew into NYC just to have lunch here a few weeks ago.

Based in Brooklyn, it’s the best tasting pizza I’ve ever eaten! πŸ•

From a business perspective, I believe there are a three simple reasons why this place is so successful, that you can apply to growing your brand and business.

Check them out here:

πŸ•They keep it simple - They sell only an 18” pizza and a calzone. The food is made by candlelight, the entire restaurant glows.

Lesson: I’ve learned to simplify my service offering rather than trying to sell too many different things. Simplify to multiply is my motto🀞🏾

πŸ•Premium flavor and price - They use only the freshest organic ingredients in their pizza which comes at a slightly higher price point.

Lesson: Don’t be afraid to charge a premium price for your service. If you’re great at what you do and more importantly, get results for your clients, the right clientele cares more about the result than the fee.

πŸ•Scarcity - No phone reservations can be made. To snag a table, the in-person waitlist opens one hour before the restaurant. Probably due to demand, but to the customer it creates FOMO. No-one wants to be left outside hungry! There is always a line outside.

Lesson: Don’t fight or chase customers, attract them by building a strong reputation in your industry. Just like how Lucali’s has for pizza.

Now I want pizza and it’s only 8am! πŸ•πŸ˜žπŸ€¦πŸΎ‍♀️
