I created The Professional Presence framework™️ to address the gaps within traditional models of leadership to help women and diverse talent develop themselves and own their careers.
Traditional executive presence training tends to be created by and for one particular demographic: straight, middle-class, white men.
As such, self leadership strategies about managing careers fail to address the challenges of women and diverse talent because they weren’t designed with these demographics in mind.
Challenges like:
- Being perceived as bossy, rude, or brusque when they show the same leadership attributes as their counterparts
- Being told from a young age to keep their head down and just work harder
- Lacking the networks, society, or ‘boys clubs’ that make it easier to navigate in their roles (especially at a leadership level).
